Where can the SG Off Road gift card be used?
The SG Off Road gift card can be redeemed at our locations in Wonthaggi and Leongatha. Gift cards are not valid for online purchases or for mail or phone orders.
Is the balance updated automatically?
Yes, each time you use your SG Off Road gift card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the card balance when it is swiped through the EFTPOS pinpad and the transaction is approved. If the transaction is declined due to insufficient funds, the balance will remain unchanged. Cardholders can check their balance online via our website. We recommend checking your balance before using your gift card to ensure sufficient funds are available.
What should I do if the EFTPOS pinpad does not approve my gift card transaction?
If your gift card transaction is declined, check the following:
EFTPOS Network Issues: The EFTPOS system may be offline. In this case, you will need to provide another payment method or return later when the system is back online. Gift cards cannot be used while the EFTPOS system is offline.
Damaged Magnetic Stripe: If the card’s magnetic stripe is damaged, please contact SG Off Road for further assistance.
Insufficient Funds: There may not be enough balance on the gift card to complete the transaction.
Expired Gift Card: Check the expiry date on the back of your card. If it has expired, please refer to the terms and conditions on the back of the card or visit our website for more information.
Do I have to spend the entire amount of the gift card in a single purchase?
No, gift cards are partially redeemable. You can use the remaining balance for multiple purchases at any participating merchant, as long as the card is still within its validity period.
Can these gift cards be reloaded with value?
No, these gift cards cannot be reloaded with additional funds once they’ve been issued.
Do I receive change on a gift card transaction?
No, change will not be given for gift card transactions. The card can be used until the balance reaches zero, regardless of how small the remaining balance is.
Does a gift card expire?
Yes, SG Off Road gift cards will expire 36 months after the date of purchase.
What happens if I lose my gift card or it is stolen?
If your gift card is lost or stolen, it can only be replaced if you provide the 19-digit card number or a valid purchase receipt, and if there is still a balance remaining on the card. Please contact SG Off Road to request a replacement.
